You can build the Visual Basic and C# samples using the commmand line compilers included in "Longhorn" or you can use the PDC edition of the "Whidbey" release of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. To compile and run the C++ samples, you must use the PDC edition of the "Whidbey" release of Visual Studio .NET. Samples that ship in the .NET Framework SDK are not included in this release of the "Longhorn" SDK. However, they are available in the "Whidbey" release of Visual Studio .NET.
