choral & Jack: i think it is the best important that it is maybe easy to built a internet portal website by the natrue way, but it is not easy way to maintenance and update the websites. SPS2007 really provided a good idea to refresh it and make a easy solution.

@怀疑：这些网站是微软的咨询服务部门的杰作，是的的确确的基于SharePoint平台的。
@Jack：SharePoint Server 2007 has Content Manager Server built in, and Microsoft doesn't have any other product to build Internet-face site. Yes performance is a big problem for SharePoint, but it has been improved via many new features with SQL2005 and proper architecture.

i really do not think it is a good idea to use SPS to build an Internet website. SPS is designed for enterprise and by nature it is not good to build for Internet, especially its performance
